Float trips on the French Broad, Holsten, Watauga and Tuckaseegee Rivers are designed for more experienced anglers. July and August are excellent months to try your hand at fly fishing for lively smallmouth bass as well as for trout. •Backpacking Fly Fishing Trips in the Great Smoky Mountains• This trip is for the angler looking for a true wilderness fly fishing experience. We have backpacking trips suited to people of all skill and fitness levels. No need to worry yourself about the gear, we provide most of what you would need.
